25th Annual San Rafael Swell Spring Mt. Bike Festival

The 2011 San Rafael Swell Spring Mt. Bike Festival will be held from May 20th through May 22nd near Green River, Utah.

We meet in Green River, Utah and provide guided rides all over the wild San Rafael Swell. Rides also traverse the stunning San Rafael Reef, and the surrounding areas!

Registration starts at 1:00pm with a warm up ride at 3:00pm.

Dinner will be served at 6:00pm, with a prize drawing to follow.

Saturday morning breakfast is served at 8:00am, bring your own lunch, and between 5:00pm - 6:00pm come enjoy our famous dutch oven dinner cooked in three foot wide dutch ovens by the local Search & Rescue Team.

Sunday morning breakfast is at 8:00am, and rides will begin at 9:00am. 

We offer meal tickets only for anyone who wants to come participate with family or friends, but doesn't want to go on the ride.

What we will do:

• Provide a spaghetti dinner on Friday and a pancake breakfast on Saturday, both served at the Tamarisk Restaurant. See Schedule of Events for times.
• Provide a Dutch Oven dinner on Saturday served at the John Wesley Powell Museum and a continental breakfast on Sunday. See Schedule of Events for times.
• Enter you in Friday evening's prize drawing. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.
• Give you an event T-Shirt, and a "goodie bag" containing useful stuff for bike riders.
• Provide all support for the rides, including guides, sag wagons, and First Aid personnel.

What you need to do:

Make arrangements for Friday & Saturday night in Green River, UT. Please use the businesses that sponsor our bike festival.

Rooms will certainly sell out!!!
 

• Make arrangements for lunch on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. You will need to carry your lunch and water with you on your bicycle. Sag Wagons will have additional water.
• Come prepared for any type of weather. A perfect weekend is on order, but there are no guarantees!
• Bring your helmet. No one will be allowed to ride without a HELMET!
• Bring sun screen and insect repellent, and don't forget your camera.

If you cannot come to Green River Friday night, please meet us on Saturday at the John Wesley Powell Museum at 8:00 a.m. You will be given directions at that time. We will convoy to the trailheads. Guides will be with you at all times.
